Lowrance VS Suzuki

Hei.

Noen som vet om det er mulig å få opp motordata fra en (ny) Suzuki på HDS-8?

Ja det skal ikke väre noe problem.

Men du må ha en Suzuki EP-20(tror det er det den heter), engine interface.
Den kobles sammen med ditt NMEA 2000 nettverk.
Har samme på mine Suzukis de er fra 2008 og er koblet opp på mine Lcx-112c og Globalmap via NMEA 2000. Får opp masse motordata, temperatur, gangtimer, turtall, bensinforbruk pluss mye annet.

Hvilken störrelse er det på motoren? er motoren 2010 modell?

"Engines after 2008 (DF40 to DF250)

In 2008 the communication connectors inside the engine were changed from the previous 8-pin round housing to a 4-pin square housing. A Suzuki adapter, model 990C0-88035, is needed to convert the Lowrance engine interface plug from the old round shape to the new square shape. Also in 2008, the engine wiring harness was changed so that the Lowrance interface can now be connected either inside the engine or under the dash. Connecting under the dash makes for a simpler installation. A Suzuki technical bulletin is posted below that shows the new connection method in detail for each engine model.

Whether you connect in the engine or in the dash, you will have to separate two connectors in the engine housing. If you are going to make the interface connection in the engine housing, you then attach one of these connectors to the Suzuki adapter and then to the Lowrance interface cable. If you are going to make the interface connection under the dash, you attach one of these connectors to a spare connector found in the housing, which then leads up to the dash area. The Suzuki technical bulletin posted below shows where these connectors are located inside the engine housing for each engine model."

På mange av Suzukimotorene som er 2008 modell og nyere er det problematisk å få opp motordata. Må enten bytte til digitale Suzuki SMIS instrumenter ellers så forsvinner varsellampene når motorinterfacet kobles inn. Kommer en ny kabel i nær framtid som skal fikse problemet.
